Location, Location, Location!

The Centre-du-Québec region is located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River, halfway between Montréal and Québec City. The region’s major cities include Drummondville, Victoriaville, Bécancour, Plessisville, and Nicolet.

A strategic location
Centre-du-Québec is home to a vast, efficient road network. Highway 55 spans the entire region, leading north to Mauricie and south to Estrie. Highway 20, which links all of Canada’s 10 provinces, provides easy access to Québec City, Montréal, and Toronto.

The region also serves as a base for two airports serving corporate jets and small private aircraft. They are easily accessed by travelers arriving to the Montréal and Québec City international airports.

Accessible year-round, the Bécancour port provides access to the Québec, Canadian, and northeastern U.S. maritime networks.

Railway transport for passengers and merchandise is also available.
